First National Bank (FNB) has the option to have bank statements delivered to your email address automatically every month. You can even specify that it should be in CSV format to import it into your financiaal system. Additionally they allow three (3) email addresses you can setup to send it to.
The format between the personal CSV file and the Business format is different. Therefore LPF created a new option to use when you import the data. Download the latest version of the Bank Statement Import and select the Business Email option when importing the data.

The LPF AgriBusiness module to import Coop statements posts the data twice to the worksheet.
This problem occurred where you have multiple Statement numbers in one month. The program import then all the data for each unique statement number. We have rectify this and will import the data in statement order.
You may delete the duplicates on the worksheet to fix the problem or you can download the latest Coop statements module to update the program.

LPF has added support for FNB (First National bank) ‘s emailed history statements for their AgriBusiness and Express software products.
We have described how to get the bank statements to be delivered to your email account in detail in our blog before.

You can download the AgriBusiness or Express versions of the path or get it from the Downloads section of our web site.
We have upgraded our already clever Bank Statements module to make the import of your bank statement easier!
You know that once you have imported the file, you can double click on a line and specify how you want to link the transaction. That means you have to run through a couple of months to ensure you catch them all. Until now!
Now the program would use an existing link by default but if it can’t find any, it would determine the last transaction from the current worksheet for the specific bank account and description and use the details specified there ( account, center, allocation and vat). AND it would add this info to your list of links! You can then double click on the transaction to change the info or fine-tune it.
We also have an option to remove all your current links so you can start from scratch if necessary. You will find this under Setup and Clear Links.
Remember, you can press the F1 key to get some help how to do all of this.
Upgrade to the latest version of the Bank Statements module of LPF Agribusiness or LPF Expresss. This update fix some problems with Nedbank files.
1. The OFC/OFX downloaded file did not show the Descriptions once the file was imported. Nedbank uses a different fieldname to specify the description. This has been fixed now.
2. For the normal CSV files, you have currently two version. The main difference is the way Nedbank formats the date. Generally use V2 and if that that does not work, revert back to V1. V2 use to give a ‘Type Mismatch’ error when you select the wrong version. We have added some error trapping to allow you to continue working on this module if you selected the ‘wrong’ version.
Download and apply the update for LPF Agribusiness or LPF Expresss.
A refresh of all the LPF AgriBusiness modules are available for download now.
The following modules were updated lately:
The Coops module – to allow you to post to your ‘own’ worksheet.
The Setup module – to allow for Password levels when you define your users. Watch this space for further developmen here as this has not been implemented in the system yet.
The main exe to be able to Process data in your own worksheet.
The Worksheet module to Process in your ‘own’ worksheet and to Post the data to your Main Worksheet.
From version 2010.11.30 of the LPF Worksheet, you have now the facility to create and use your own worksheet. This worksheet is separate from the main worksheet. This allows you to have multiple people capturing data for a particular profile.
The worksheet also has an option under the “Change” menu option to “Post” your data to the main worksheet. This will move all the data to the main worksheet.
Your worksheet is linked to the user name you used when you started the program and is stored within the current profile. This allows you to work on ‘your’ worksheet from anywhere as long as you can access the particular profile data.
You can Download this version of LPF Worksheet now. Also remember to Download the main LPF AgriBusiness program to be able to open your own worksheet.
The first line of the Nedbank Internet CSV bank statement did not import at all. This has been fixed.
